Stonekit was born in Thuderclan with his two siblings, Brightkit and Cooingkit. He was a quite kit, not because he was shy he just didn't have anything to any of the other cats. In fact he often yelled at other kits if they came around him. His mother constantly was trying to get him be friends or at least be friendly to them, though his father never pushed him, in fact he was the same way. Stormyowl was a loyal and proud warrior, and Stonekit wanted to be just like him.
Stonepaw became Feathertuft's apprentice when he became 6 moons old, Feathertuft was his father's apprentice and he was honored to serve his old mentor in training Stonepaw. Stormyowl would join them sometimes for training, and it occasional turned very violent. Stonepaw at first was a bit frightened but he started to go along with it and join in. Stormyowl was very proud of Stonepaw and he often shared secrets. Stonepaw found out that Stormyowl and Feathertuft were secretly mates, at first he didn't really care and would help watch out for them when they hid away together. When he became a warrior he saw how it tore at his mother's heart how distant her mate was being. Stoneheart became increasingly upset about his father affair with his now former mentor after watching his mother slowly become more and more agitated by her wandering mate. One sunrise, Stormyowl and Feathertuft took Stoneheart to tell him that they were going to come out to the clan and Stormyowl was going to leave his mother. Stoneheart got angry at them, saying that would be stupid. Stormyowl and Stonheart began to argue with each other, and Stoneheart got more and more worked up. Finally he flipped and attacked his father. Stormyowl was caught off guard at was quickly taken down by his son. Stoneheart was very angry, even when his father was down he kept biting and scratching him. He didn't even realize when he killed him, only stopped by being ripped off by Feathertuft who started crying over Stormyowl. Stoneheart threatened his former mentor that if he told anyone, he'd kill him next for being a mate stealer. Feathertuft agreed to stay silent, and avoided talking to Stoneheart or any of his family members. |
